A Fond Farewell

Fond Farewell

The time has come to bid you a fond farewell. Monday 29 February 2016, will be my last day at emphasis. I am leaving with mixed feelings as I truly enjoy being a beauty therapist and I love my salon (my little escape). However, I’m heading off to new adventures. While I’m not sure what they are just yet, I do trust that they will be amazing and filled with new challenges.

Working with each and every one of you has been an absolute joy. We gave one another the greatest gift: time - a portion of our lives that we will never get back. I wish to thank you for your support and I will miss your heart-warming smiles. I sincerely hope that we can stay in touch and find future opportunities to spend time together.

Congratulations to Lindri van der Merwe who will be the new owner of emphasis. Lindri is from a farm in the Eastern Cape outside Jeffreys Bay. After spending a year abroad, Lindri studied in George at an elite college where she graduated with her international qualifications: ITEC and CIDESCO. She then worked at Pezula in Knysna and she is currently working at Fancourt Spa.

Lindri is very passionate about being a beauty therapist and she loves to take care of people and make them feel good about themselves. She is really looking forward to being the new owner of emphasis and she foresees many happy years ahead.

Lindri, I wish you great success with your future at emphasis. Pre-scheduled appointments will remain as scheduled unless you notify me or Lindri otherwise.

Fondest regards,
Julie McKey
Owner, Director and Therapist at emphasis
